Hi, I’m Kristin! I’m so happy you’re here.

Rise and Thrive started as a fun little social media page where I could share the things I love most: cooking, baking, and my husband’s building adventures. What started as a way to share our everyday projects and creations has grown into a space where I can share a little more of what happens in my kitchen, too.

One of my favorite things is cooking for my family and friends. There’s just something special about bringing people together around a table filled with homemade food. I love trying new recipes, recreating family favorites, and seeing just how many things I can make from scratch for my kids. From sourdough bread to sweet treats, cozy comfort foods, and everything in between, I’m always finding something new to make, bake, or try.

For me, it’s not about making everything perfect. It’s about the joy of creating something with my own hands, learning along the way, and sharing the results with the people I love. Sometimes a recipe turns out just right, sometimes it’s a little experiment, but there’s always something to enjoy in the process.

Around here, you’ll find a little bit of everything: homemade breads, baked goods, family-friendly meals, comfort food, new recipes, and all the little kitchen adventures in between. I love the idea of making more from scratch, keeping the old favorites alive, and discovering new ones to add to the mix.

Rise and Thrive is about finding joy in the everyday things, creating a home filled with good food and love, and remembering that the simplest things are often the most meaningful.
